Creature Comforts, Sailor Sequence, Soft Reeds

I like that my favorite local bands from the 90s are doing occasional shows again these days--I just wish I didn't have to go to Kansas City to see them. It could be worse; my friends Julie and Josh flew out from Seattle for the show. Mutual familiarity with the Creature Comforts is what initially connected us when I was out in Seattle (the band had stayed on her floor when touring in New York).

Interesting how a little band from Kansas can have such a reach.
